Dr. Sherman Lee is a Specialist Anaesthetist with a profound commitment to supporting patients through life’s most challenging moments. With public appointments at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, as well as a private practice at Cabrini Hospital, Epworth Richmond, St Vincent’s Private, and several other Melbourne hospitals, Sherman brings expertise and compassion to his work.

Sherman graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery with First Class Honours. Following his role as a critical care medical officer at Monash Health, Sherman embarked on training in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care through Monash Health, gaining extensive experience in Paediatric, Obstetric, Orthopaedic, Thoracic, Neurosurgical anaesthesia, and the care of critically unwell patients. He pursued his anaesthetic fellowship at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, focusing his training on anaesthesia for highly complex surgeries.

Sherman’s special interests include Orthopaedic, Regional, Airway, Ear Nose, and Throat, and Ophthalmic anaesthesia. Beyond his clinical practice, Sherman is deeply involved in medical education, conducting the ultrasound-guided cannulation workshop at the University of Melbourne MD Student Conference annually. He is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) and a member of the Australian Society of Anaesthesia (ASA).

In his personal time, Sherman finds solace and joy in scuba diving with his beloved wife, capturing life’s moments through photography, and exploring nature with his young family.
